Using the Smart Teleprompter
Cue's teleprompter displays your script with smooth auto-scrolling. Adjust the scroll speed, font size, and use keyboard shortcuts for hands-free control during presentations.
Opening the teleprompter
Open any speech script and click "Present" to launch the fullscreen teleprompter. Your script appears with large, readable text that scrolls automatically at your chosen speed.
Controls
The control panel on the right side of the screen provides:
- Play/Pause: Start or stop scrolling
- Speed slider: Adjust scroll speed from 0.5x to 3x
- Font size slider: Adjust text size from 24px to 72px
- Progress bar: See how far through your script you are and jump to any position
- Reset: Return to the beginning of the script
Keyboard shortcuts
- Space: Play/Pause
- Up/Down arrows: Scroll manually
- +/-: Increase/decrease speed
- [ / ]: Decrease/increase font size
- R: Reset to beginning
- F: Toggle fullscreen
- Esc: Exit teleprompter
