Starting a Practice Session

Practice sessions combine the teleprompter with a timer, WPM tracking, and optional voice recording. Start a session from the Practice page by selecting a script and clicking Practice.

How to start a session

  1. Navigate to Practice from the sidebar
  2. Find your script in the list and click "Practice"
  3. The teleprompter opens with a practice panel showing countdown, timer, and session controls
  4. Optionally enable voice recording in the practice panel before starting
  5. Choose a countdown delay (0, 3, 5, or 10 seconds) and click "Start Practice"
  6. Speak through your script — the teleprompter scrolls and the timer tracks your session

Adjusting settings during practice

During a practice session, you can adjust teleprompter settings directly in the practice panel:

  • Font size: Slide to increase or decrease text size
  • Scroll speed: Adjust how fast the teleprompter moves
  • Mirror mode: Toggle horizontal flip for physical teleprompter setups

You can also pause and resume at any time without losing your session progress.

Finishing a session

Click "Finish" to complete your session. Cue shows your results: duration, words per minute (WPM), completion percentage, and a link to play back your recording if you enabled it. Click "Practice Again" to immediately start another session.
