Editing and Formatting Scripts

Edit your scripts directly in Cue's script editor. You can make manual changes, use AI to rewrite sections inline, and format text for clear teleprompter readability.

The script editor

Open any script from the Scripts page to access the editor. The editor supports plain text formatting optimized for teleprompter readability. Line breaks create natural pause points when displayed on the teleprompter.

AI inline rewrites

Select any portion of your script text and use the AI rewrite feature to adjust tone, simplify language, add more detail, or restructure a section without changing the rest of your script.

Word count and estimated time

The editor shows a live word count and estimated speaking time based on an average pace of 150 words per minute. Use this to calibrate your script length for the target presentation duration.
